Katie Teasdale is Head of Policy at the Chamber. Katie’s policy areas include transport and she oversees the rest of the team’s activities. She chairs the West Midlands Chambers of Commerce Policy Group and recently received the British Chambers of Commerce’s 2008 award for effective campaigning.

Katie graduated from the University of Birmingham with a degree in Medieval and Modern History in 2006. Katie has lived in Birmingham for over eight years. Her favourite book is Gabriel Garcia Marquez’s One Hundred Years of Solitude and her favourite television programme is unquestionably Doctor Who!

Katie thinks the best thing about working at the Chamber is meeting inspirational business leaders and entrepreneurs and she is passionate about representing their interests to decision-makers at all levels.
